This was a very cerebral piece of work. It was as easy to read as such a work could be and it held my interest. I like the analysis of the poem within the story as it shows the author's knowledge of literary concepts. I also liked the use of the doctor's unique credentials to personify the analysis. This story is one that is interesting and creative. Good work!

I like the characters, you have started to develop real personalities and this scene grabs my attention.
The story is entertaining enough to make me want to know what happens next, so I hope that you'll continue with it.
One more thing, you may want to describe what your characters look like physically via actions; e.g., "EDDY ran his fingers through his thick red hair." That would help the reader distinguish between each of them.
