These are my opinions and suggestions. There are two separate stories going on here, creating confusion. In one story Jason is sweet, generous ghost to the carolers and in the other a vengeful, murderous spirit. The true horror is Mrs Strauss killing a little boy so violently. Is the story about the Carol Singers or a murder or a ghost? You are very creative and need to focus on one story at a time. Keep the reader clear on your characters and their intent.Write on
