A very touching story. I was glad to find out Cindy was getting out of her awful life. I was impressed by her patience and perseverance. She didn't give in to any self-destructive habit as a result of regret over her own mistake of marrying Alex. This preserved her conscience. Rather she resorted to something as innocent as colouring books. Her childish endeavour for a 27 year old, can be overlooked as she wasn't in a position to care about what other people thought of it. And her final act of burning her book and crayons was profound as it was both sad and liberating at the same time.
Overall, a sweet and poignant read. Keep writing! :)
