I'm onlyfifteen but you painted a wonderful picture of motherhood and what I might someday experience. And your daughter is very lucky to have a mother like you and it's so touching to see that there's still people in the world who have a good mother-daughter relationship because it's shocking to see how rare they are these days.
I have a wonderful mum who I love with all my heart, and your poem made me realise just how precious family is. so thank-you, and please continue to write. Your an extremely talented wrier and I'm sure many people would benifit from your indepth poems.
That...is amazing, how good it was. I never really read poems but when I saw the title of yours I decided to give it a go, and I am so glad I did. All of your poem was just intricate and detailed and I'm ashamed to say that it even brought a few tears to my eyes!
But I suppose that's just the power a lot of amazing writers contain. So thank-you. I love finding a piece of writing which actually makes me feel something besides boredom, and you poem definately did that.
It was even better than the poem I just read about post traumatic stress, and that one touched me personally because my sister has it...and I really didn't think anything else would even come near what I felt when I read that one...but your poem obliverated it.
So congragulations and please write more, you have an amzing gift to be able to write so effectively.
Oh my god. Okay, usually I don't read stuff like this but when I saw that it was about post-tramatic stress I just had to. And I really like your poem, not the subject, but the way you wrote it...because my sister has PTSD from a home invasion she was involved in a few years ago, and even though your poem was obviously about a soilder it still touched me.
It's so hard for people with PTSD and I know that from watching my sister. She developed a movement disorder from it. So thank-you for acknowledging what people with PTSD go through every day.
I woud hate to have it, but those who do seem so strong about it and it's really inspiring to see.
