This poem is full of strong emotions. I felt the intensity of your pain in the first four lines. You make a one line stop at the happy moments. Does that mean those bits are shortlived? The last part is a supplication which to me takes all the attention from you the subject of the poem. My only regret is that I would have loved to see how you express passion with the beautiful and joyful bit so as not to give too much power to the absent subject. Great read regardless!
