Absolutely amazing! I try to give a teal ribbon once a week, but I think I'm going to have to change it to once a month. Anyway, I enjoyed the WHOLE thing, but the ending is what did it for me. I've selected this to be the newbie teal ribbon award winner this month. I'm also listing it as being a fan of it. I look forward to reading more of your writing. Keep it up! I REALLY enjoyed this poem! I stepped out of my typical genre of what I like to red or write about. I think that's what this site is all about though. Not, that I'm not a religious man. I bet you made everything your father did for you all worth it to him with these words. Our parents are the ones who taught us, in one way or another to be able to express ourselves poetically, don't you think? I wrote one to my mother for Mothers' Day when I was younger that I put on here called "Nurtured Seed". If you get a chance, read it and tell me what you think. Now you've inspired me to write one to my father as well. Again, Thank you for reading my work. I will make it a point to take the time to read everything you've written over time. Try to read some more of mine soon. You might like them. Keep in mind, I'm new to this and, therefore, realize I need a LOT of work on my form and probably grammar as well, so if you see things that I'm messing up on feel free to let me know.
