This poem is very good at getting to the heart of the matter! I love the introduction too, infact it was the introduction that prompted me to read the poem.

I like it most because it gives so many different of images of different life changes, I particularly like the line, "Signs ignored now seem so clear" - it's sad that that is always the way!

I really like what you have done here with the prompt words! Great poem, I like that a lot of people emotionally walk in the night at times of relationship breakdown. I thought that was just something I do! : )
