I liked the story, but it was a bit...abrupt in the end? I think you could work on extending this, and perhaps even juice it for a work of fiction, because this would make a great story. Good luck in your writing!
It's well thought through. I love the use of enjambment, and there is a good overall knowledge of poetic techniques. I think that it's a good way to look at things, and we should all try to be a little more like Morty. I definitely enjoyed reading this.
It's well-written and flows well. I like it a lot, it invokes a certain feeling of...mystery. If you want to improve, the only thing I can think of is capital letters and full stops.
