This is a great idea for a story. I like the description and contemplative attitude. I also like how the story builds as more people get on the Metra. It's a very relatable. I know I've often sat on a plane or in a waiting room observing the people around me, but I've never gotten up the courage to try to take down what they're saying. I suppose my only question is, how are you going to tie the chapters together? Will the reader learn more about the characters as the novel continues? Will the Ruminator and the Loyal Follower ever reappear or will there be others in their place, or both? In any case, I can't wait 'til your next chapter!
