I love this kind of poetry, it's sort of the classic type, isn't it? It's very well written. I really like it, especially the end. Actually I like pretty much all of it. Good work! :)
the only thing keeping me from giving you the "perfect" score is the fact that you sort of lose the rythm in certain lines, as if you were trying to put too many words where they don't really fit. E.g. this line:
"You knew the first and you’ll know the last"
I love what you're saying, I just felt wierd about the rythm.
Anyway you're awesome, way better than me! keep it up!
