I wrote this based on an experience I went through I hope some of you can relate
Shattered Soul

How do you say you’re sorry
When everything inside feels broken
When you care about someone so much
Only to learn, that you’re the reason they long to die
They told you they loved you
You reply it can never be
For they were too old for you
And you already have someone else

How do you say you’re sorry
When you feel like a manipulator
Because you’ve kind of always liked them
When they tell you things are going wrong
And say “Forget me, but I won’t forget you”
You beg them to stop and want to break away
You crawl into your empty bed
Your heart stops beating
And you’re body feels hollow and empty

How do you wipe away the tears
Not yet fallen from your eyes
When you see how much pain you’ve caused someone
How can you say you’re sorry
When you’ve nothing to be sorry for
But an empty depletion of what used to lie inside.
