For those who have a little rain cloud that follows them every step of the way.
It rains here all the time,
as feet become wet and hearts grow weary,
into crowded corridors,
haunted by dreams of another,
a tired body carries on.

With no end in sight or a beginning to remember,
she's exists between the pages
of other peoples lives,
left to feel but not to be felt,
a lonely soul carries on.

A beautiful face turns the heart to stone,
his sweet eyes see nothing
but the specter she's become,
poisoned by an impossible desire,
a broken heart carries on.

God ponders her question each and every night,
but he knows that the answer
is not one she wants to hear,
turning a blind eye in silence,
a dying faith carries on.

It rains here all the time,
as a beaten soul gives up the ghost,
the most beautiful tear is shed
for what could have been,
a memory fades away.
