Issues

you shout
you lay blame
you don’t think
put yourself in her place
and forget your experience
she doesn’t have it
so why should you?

have you ever stopped to think
about the shouting from her view
she’s not like you
or me…
she’s not filled with aggression
nor the emotional control

you don’t see any of this
all you see is failure
failure to meet your standards
standards set too high

maybe you do see
maybe you see more
your own failures perhaps
or is she just your outlet
a place to point your anger

you try shouting at me
but don’t get the same response
if you get one at all
so you turn on her
and nothing is resolved
maybe one day…
you’ll stop…
and think…
then listen…
