A short piece of prose describing a quiet moment of passion.
They had nothing to say to each other. Not with their voices where silly words would more than likely spill out, spoiling the moment. They let the beating of their hearts speak for them, the caress of a hand against a cheek, a soft sound escaping into the air. Their mouths moved, but not to form words. It was to meld against each other in a passion denied too long. They sipped at each other, breathing in one another's souls. The wind blew around them in approval, drowning out their sighs. For those few moments they existed in a world where words were not needed, a place where only they existed. It was here, in this way, that they finally confessed their hearts' desire.
