A poem I wrote a few days ago, kind of random, didn't turn out the way I wanted it to.
Locked inside this lonely house
Cold concrete beneath my feet
Shattered glass gouges at my skin
A candle burning a dim light
Wishing you were here

The silence even seems to echo
through this empty place
Everything dull;black and white
No color, no light;plain
Don't ask me what happened
I'm just a part of this aching
scheme

There's a plan to this game
of cards
Only there's a catch
Just two cards: you and me
Were never meant to be
