I spent a great deal of time thinking about this poem. Hope you will enjoy it!!
Soap opera or pop? The preference so defined
to divide them to half with gap lengthier than length.
Though linked by blood still peculiar to sight
filled in they were-with sopranos and bees.
Each struggled for a place and a compromise was reached
to watch the comedy that announced the final close.

No rainbow meteors greeted on the screen but
shades of black hole masked the penetrable.
Deafening shouts, screams from cores shattered
all the jingles and upbeats. Greenery over taken by the reds,
flowing to a never end-Beyond the screen some shifted.
The sources laid still, sprawled and shrivelled while the
reds spread from there and seeped through the brown,
and grateful I was for the shrouded mist.
However there, the carnage unhidden,
and it may be frozen, without attempts to thaw.

A veil soon uplifted for another new beginning
and a selfish thought crossed my mind
I am better to be alive. A grain lay amongst
the sea of dust with thinly shadows hovering to pounce
and when all turned clear, the shadows unleashed the
predators of young fighting for their prey. Claws grasped,
but the prey leaped into the air and went unsighted.
Other predators slurped from the rotting lake
immersed deep were the mere leftovers of hunters’ residue from weapons.
The trap being set, they fell right in.
Quenched predators couldn’t call the young to stay away
them all fell, the hunters snickered with glee.
Weapons unlocked of safety locks, the screen burst to flames.
What proceeded wasn’t told but the truth itself was plainly seen.
The veil fell back, the screen dead again and even a pin
the floor will shake.

But it didn’t last long, murmurs of ignorance and cries in agony
were soon widespread. Some lost in bitterness while others dared to giggle.
A war was starting, young against the old.
Shouts were lashed across and all lips were twisted.
Nobody believes in legends, nobody said they were.
A touching fib to curse our brains, we will be killed when your brains are sane.
The gap was deeper than ever, as generations claimed their right over issues.
The young should see the realistic of the world, the old should be more patient,
but one conflict leads to another, people are at stake,
and all for an uproar of a comedy.
