A lost love
Five Years ago I saw you.
I didn’t know you would.
Take my heart and hold it close
like a lover should.

A chance brought us together
destiny, fate, who knows.
But for a time you filled that place
no one else can ever go

I’m lost in my forever place
counting grains of sand.
Looking through a clouded window
to a long forgotten land.

Without my heart
I’m just a being.
Like five years ago, I live.
Without my heart
I ‘ll always know
I had much more to give.

It’s always there for you to hold
when sad or feeling blue.
And when you think some loving thoughts
just know that I do too.

I feel it when you feel things
I know in love it’s true.
My heart was not for me to keep
as it always belonged to you.
