Just my perception of Trees
When You Look At Tree
What Do You See
Sheter, Furniture, Warmth
Or An Obstruction
In Your Path
Do You Think Of Destruction
Clawing Arms Reaching Out
To Seize You
Do You Fear Tree
Do You Fear Me
Whose Arms Are Reaching Out
To Seize You
It Is Not Me
From What Are you Running
What Do You Seek To Flee
Don't You Know
We Are All Born Free
Our Wish Only To Be
Including Tree
When I See Tree
I See Warm, Loving Arms
Reaching Out To Embrace Me
I See Beautiful Tresses Of Hair
Flowing In The Wind
I See Arms Willing To Bend
To Reach Down And Hug A Little One
Never Feeling Too Tall
Or Too Important In Its' Grandiosity
To Shelter Any Of God's Children
From The Hardworking Ant
To The Metamorphosing Frog
Who Gets Stuck In A Wayward Place
While Changing And Growing
As Do Humankind, Many Times
But Even So
Tree's Love is Always Kind
This Is What I See
When I Feel Tree
