beauty, even hidden, is still beauty
TO WAKE TO YOU

a shadow running down the curtains
the room shielded by the coming day’s light
kind movements away from their voices
the naked warmth that you provide
to know you breathing on my stomach
the beating of your heart between my thighs
this saccharine pleasure still on my lips
your taste cherished within my mind
to see you come alive to me
the world becoming in your eyes
to wake to you
