Poem about pirates
“Pete”

There it comes,
Out of the blue.
A pirate ship,
And all its crew.

Turn the bow,
The captain screamed.
For the pirates were gaining.
I could see their gleam.

Our little vessel,
Carrying dye.
Was about to sink.
I could hear myself cry.

When out of nowhere,
A galleon came.
To shoot the pirates,
And reclaim their fame.

The pirates were scared,
They began to retreat.
My life was saved,
By a ship named “Pete”
