POEM OF FREEDOM
STARS

A BRILLIANT SHINING OBJECT
SEEN AT NIGHT,

GIVING DIRECTION WHERE
THERE IS NOT SIGHT,

WISHES CAST ON THEM
HOPING OF A BETTER PLIGHT,

GUIDING ONES SOUL
INTO A NEW DAYS LIGHT,

CLUSTERS FORM WAVES
OF TREMENDOUS HEIGHT,

A BLANKET FOR THE SKY AT NIGHT,

A SYMBOL OF EACH STATES FREEDOM,
BOUND BY STRIPES,

FORMING THE FLAG,
REPRESENTING OUR GOD GIVEN RIGHT.
