Anew the sun does rise,
Emerging from the east, appear her morning rays.
A blazing beauty above, to all who dwell below,
A sight too flawless to be seen by my eyes,
though upon it I do gaze.
Colors shimmer and dance upon the morning clouds,
A marvel few truly know.
I attempt to capture this brief wonder of the skies,
what artistry she displays!
And now the wind does blow,
and the birds do sing aloud,
for this glory has faded,
the color gone from the clouds
and I again, am left jaded.
