Just somthing about trying again.
“She still lives in there,
In the shadows of your heart.”
Sara tells me this,
As she begins to fall apart.

“She lives there and she hurts you,
I can see it in your eyes.
The pain she left has trapped you.”
Sara whispers as she cries.

And Sara tells me how she loves me,
And how the remnants of my past,
Won’t let me truly love her,
Not the way I loved the last.

What she says begins to shake me,
Like a wall is falling down.
And all at once the light floods in,
And my past begins to drown.

“That woman broke your heart,” she says,
“And now she breaks mine too.”
Sarah’s words are bitter,
But God knows how they’re true.

But, Sara then is silent.
In her eyes I see goodbye.
My past begins repeating,
Again the end draws nigh.

And from the weight of her expression,
My heart begins to break.
My tears begin to fall,
And my hands begin to shake.

And with every ounce of courage,
I can muster from my soul,
I give my heart to Sara,
And I completely lose control.

She takes me by the hand,
And the stones begin to fall,
My heart is her's completely,
For Sara broke the wall.
