this is a poem for the halloween season.
All Hallows Eve.
Look bright eyed,
Look into the flowing ether while the veil is thin,
No one can say what you’ll see,
On this one night a year,
The halls of the past are open,
For one with the skill,
And the predisposition,
All Hallows Eve is a time of respect,
A time to honor the dead,
For those who have life,
But have not the sight,
Must honor those who have passed the veil,
This one night a year,
Old pains may be reconciled,
With those who were lost to all hope,
When the world beyond throws open it’s doors,
Hail the words of the wise,
Give honor to those who have given their dues,
For life has released them from pain,
For one who can hear there are words,
Wisdom and that which was lost,
For those with eyes to see there are sights,
Examples and glimpses of peace,
For those with hearts to beat there are comforts,
Peace made with those who are past,
Above all this one night a year is a time for the past,
When honor is that is owed is to be paid,
All this you may see bright eyed,
When with respect one looks into the ether,
The flowing life of the world,
And the window through which one may look,
Into the realm of the otherworld,
Look bright eyed,
Look into the flowing ether while the veil is thin,
On this one night a year,
On All Hallows Eve.
