roses, roses, roses. hearts melt after roses...
The rose bed

Thrice you rejected me,
Yet the cold I warmed,
Releasing the flame free.

The first day I gave you a red rose,
To show you the blood I’d spill for you,
Yet your heart froze.

The next day I gave you a blue rose,
To show you the oceans I’d empty for you,
Yet your heart froze.

The third day I gave you a green rose,
To show you the world I’d destroy for you,
Yet your heart froze.

My head cooled to you,
My heart cooled to you,
Yet my eyes warmed for you.

The fourth day I gave you a white rose,
To show the love I had for you
And your heart arose.
