Sometimes, it's better to be lied to than to know the truth.
I find myself believing your velvety words,

So eloquent and suave.

I lose myself in the bliss of falsities,

Forgetting for a moment who I am, and what I believe in.

I listen to you speak, fabricating for me an elaborate tale,

And your words float past my eyes, dazzlingly bright.

I so want your fantasy, and I receive it.

There is no storybook ending.

I become entangled in your tantalizing web of beautiful lies.

There is no going back, but I don't regret it.

As long as I can drown

In the opposite of harsh reality.
