My first love poem about my boyfriend.
a mistake drew us near
to explore eachother
a first touch followed a first kiss
with this green eyed sweet talking stranger
who captivated my attention from the first setting
ignited a complicated process of falling in love
a summer of romance
filled with shooting stars and living with no regrets
during times that werent right
never have i fallen so quickly
to only reject my only option of happiness
taking advantage of someone so dear to me
and hurting him beyond my control
his patience i denied all hope from
separating us in all ways possible
the past became the past
months passed until timing became right for us
the spark to begin us
never died out completely
a final goodbye never occured
only for another hello to arise
to forget him was unthinkable
my betrayal towards him will ever haunt me
however all hope was restored slowly
to produce something words cant describe
lovers one moment
turn to warriors the next
the constant barrier tears at us
yet binds us ever so close
our minds at a loss for everything
but our hearts still intertwined
as though theyll never separate
like they were never meant to part
we were made for eachother
my hearts been longing for him
for him to place the missing piece where it belongs
where i belong
with him and only him
i cant hide myself from him
his body projects a comfort
that only he can give me
one i could solely accept
where i feel his delicate touch
against my skin
the warmth that lies within his eyes
those magnificant eyes of his
keeps me fighting for our happiness
they dilate as he take my image in
not recognizing all my imperfections
but seeing me as i am
and loving me none the less
all the love he gives me
i only care to return
for all the mistakes i have made
loving him isnt one of them
it never will become one
