Where did you come from?
I do wish I knew;
I was just here,
Wasn't looking for you.
Then down from the sky,
Yes, out of the blue,
Came a treasure so dear;
That treasure was you.
You opened my eyes
And made me feel things
I had thought gone forever;
You've given me wings,
To soar through the skies
In passionate throes,
And where it will end
The wind only knows.
These things, they have come
In a friendship so new;
But where did you come from?
I do wish I knew.
