How it feels to have a fire inside you...
There are no wounds for you to see
The ones made are too deep to heal
And then the raw flesh that is charred black
The burned remains, inside my skin
The flame that eats me alive
Gnawing my insides with a deep sizzle
Can’t you see Iam burning inside out?
For everything he did to my soul

The flames of hell burning inside my head
Drawing blood as its fuel
The unblemished skin is what you see
Smoky eyes and ebony hair
Inside is the crackling fire
The ones that refuses to die out
And every time the pain is amplified
Drowning in the silent sobs

A forest fire inside a soul
The one that eats me raw everyday
And yet unnoticed goes this wound
Grotesque enough to make you scream
Slither away in revolted surprise
At the Battered image burned inside
A flame that looks at cracks to escape
Slowly feeding on my tormented soul.
