a peom that talks about a child who was abused
Pain

Broken promises of childhood safety
Absence of tender loving care
No protection, provisions or warmth
No arms big enough to comfort her.

Whimpering behind close doors
A small child, forgotten and alone
She doesn’t feel clean-she doesn’t care
She was again molested, by yet another man.

The cruel teasing in the school yard
The hurt and rejection by family
Is there a cure for the everlasting pain
Is there a home for the lonely.

God makes a home for the lonely
Somewhere filled with love
Where His arms are big enough to comfort
And where there is no pain.
