This is sort of a eulogy in verse.
Cry Your Guilt Away

As we gather here today
It is our honor to pay homage and respect.
A loved one has left and gone away.
Now we have our guilt to direct.

If you cared for our friend, chances are
You may feel a little self sorrow
For having been afar
Or just not having the time for him to borrow.

If love is in your heart
And guilt is in your mind
Let the tears be free
And cry your guilt away.

We must live each day
As if it is our last.
And for those that stay
Cry your guilt away.

Let not shame or foolish pride
Keep your sorrow suppressed.
People stronger than we have cried
For loved ones laid to rest.

Tears like these are tiny signs of love.
So let your love show here today.
He is looking down from above
And expects you to cry your guilt away.
