poem about sleep
                                      Sleep

Sleep, cradle me in your arms tonight,
Take me on grand adventures and to faraway lands.
Teach me again how you I cannot fight,
Show me how you hold mt mind and body in your hands.

Sleep, you are able to bring happiness to all,
The dreams you weave are beautiful beyond words,
In your arms the dreamer knows he will never fall,
Blasphemy against your work is seldom heard.

You show your love nightly to your children,
Yet seldom is a kind word given you you,
Although you give equal love to all men,
The thanks you receive is all too few.

Sleep, you are a stranger to none and loved by all,
One day we will see the mistake we made,
Then our praise will make you stand tall,
Then our debt to you will be paid.

Sleep, man will always love you for what you are,
Because you will always bring happiness to body and mind.
No matter how long the day or body tired,
You know your peace will soon there find.

Thank you Sleep for all that you have done,
Without you man would lose much.
The happiness you bring is as bright as the sun,
Because you indeed have the magic touch.
