A sonnet from highschool
The smell of cigarettes masked by cologne
Another day goes by with me depressed
Mine will be as the past have been; alone
A day in which I feel myself regress
Absense of another to share vitality
I believe my heart is colder now
Just a day that promotes immorality
And we all fall for it's charm somehow
Blues skies and red boxes of chocolates
Memories of losing what's been promised
And those guys who tell you that you're their soulmate
Todays' the day to see your boyfriend being kissed

Valentine's day is just a joke in my eyes,
to spend another alone, I wouldn't be surprised.
