This poem is a metaphor of life, and how in life we're always given another opportunity.
The Wave

The horizon, so perfect, so serene.
The wave originates,
Slowly making it’s destination ashore.
The current picks up,
And the crescent begins to form.
Inch by inch, foot by foot,
The wave grows to its peak.
Suddenly the wave begins to break,
And crashes ashore,
Ending its journey.
The water recedes,
And the wave following begins it’s course.
