my first poem
Spears of silver filtered through leaves,
Merging shadow with light,
Painting the forest in silent radiance;
Night.

Bursts of gold rippled outwards,
Surging waves of red and orange,
Bleeding profusely into one another;
Day.

She hangs in the sky,
In heavenly zenith,
Beacon to all,
Companion to none.

She hangs in the sky,
Pearlescent,
Fleeting,
Gone.

He stares from afar,
His incandescence blinding,
His fire burning,
His heat pluming.

He yearns from afar,
Wistful,
Weeping,
Alone.
