If I could break, I would let myself shatter...
If I could break
I would let myself shatter
Crashing so loudly upon the floor
That you could not ignore it
Could not turn away from
The pieces of me skittering across your feet
Glittering like pieces of broken glass
Sparkling so that you could not change your glance
But sharp, so that if you touched them
You would know the pain you’ve caused
If I could break
I would let myself shatter….
