This is a sample of my other writings. The Dark Ones.
These nights are lonely.
In your eyes I see the truth.
The beauty.
I have thrown it all away on silly misconceptions.
Misjudged my intellect.

I've stolen away my intrigue and my entourage of fantasies follows suit.
Casting aside pretense and misdirection,
Gilded youth smitten to decay,
I long for your warm touch.

- But these eyes haunt me so,
Glancing their peering jest into my heart,
Taunting my endeavors of blissful wake -
Haunting my deepest notion of sanity.

They look in their disparaged frailty onto my soul.
Casting me into contempt.
And this brilliant cold canopy that covers my emotion,
Suffocates my indulgence to a posh interlude with reality.

I've severed the hand that binds us,
With opaque disgust.
And yet you still gaze into my heart,
With eyes plagued with death.

. . .I cannot look away. . .
