Even if you know something can only end badly, sometimes it's worth taking that risk.
Colors are Brighter

I am not a romantic
I know love is a lie
Too smart to be a doe-eyed girl

But colors are brighter
In the light of your eyes,
And my dreams get caught in your curls

So deceive me with kisses
Too sweet to satisfy;
Let the noose of passion unfurl

For colors are brighter
As danger slips by
A love that could end all my world
