A whimsical but hopefully educational poem. Fun but difficult to write. Unfinished.
I like a little alliteration
Most mornings, with muffins and milk.
The similar sounds swirl round and round
So sweet and smooth as silk.

What a wealth of words, weird and wonderful,
Whether fricasseed, frozen or fried.
Fantastically fun as they tickle the tongue,
They are truly a treat to be tried.

They go great with green grapes and granola,
So go grab the griddle and grease.
You can grind ‘em and grill ‘em, or chop ‘em and chill ‘em,
And they’re cheaper than chicken or cheese.

They’re perfect to perk up the palate
For a lusciously lazy late lunch.
Too tangy and tart, they’re a powerful part
Of my prizewinning Pucker Peach Punch.

Forgive my fantastical foolishness.
Alliteration is far from fine food.
It’s a grammatical gift that gives literature a lift
When applied with appropriate aptitude.

Is your paragraph pale and pathetic?
Does your page need a pinch of pizazz?
Well, please pick up a pen,
Thoroughly think it through, then
Just jot down some jargon with jazz.
