a poem deticated to my one true love
When I search for you, you always disappear
I want to play with you when you're on the couch but you disappear only leaving a trail of dust where you once were.
I call out your name numerous times, even bribe you to come with food, but you still don't come
I search high and low, upstairs and downstairs in little crevices big and small
But yet I still can't find you
A tear wells up in my eye hoping nothing bad happened to you
I continue to search everywhere determined to find you no matter what.
Every time I hear a bump or a tiny thud I rush to the room where it echoed out calling me to hurry and find you
The house turned into a mess with no sign of you being anywhere in the house,
I walk to my room disappointed and sit on the bed
The rays of light pour through the window, the syrup of happiness gently pouring onto my soul, the rays comforting me, its ok she'll be back we promise.
Smiling I lay down and my head droops over the bed with high hopes of finding you.
I close my eyes and a small thud and I quickly open my eyes
I see your beautiful face, your cute cat ears and your soft skin she laughs and looks down at me
She really is the champion of hide and seek.
