Short, and slighty sad, I was going for a sort of Romeo anbd Juliet thing... :)
She was melting, but only her body was crying.
Lying there in the starved earth, she sensed the stars were dying.
All she could feel was darkness, a tattered cloak of lies
She knew her breath was leaving, to dance in moonless skies.
The grass around her whispered, to keep her satisfied
She gave them life, they soaked it up, the rivers from her eyes.
The wind it howled about her, grasping her fragile life,
But freezing her inside, kissing her with a knife.

He was held there in the water, suspended between tears,
He fell for her watery secrets, her eyes that spoke of fears.
Memories flared before him, reminding him of rain.
It spoke of days long ago, of kisses filled with pain.
The water held him closer, to keep his laughter there.
But the pulse of frozen ripples convinced him not to care.
He felt her pain and anger, he could see her in the skies
Gazing down over him, leaving the empty eyes.
