Yet another of my old poems from a happier time. It is over 10 years old!
I stand on my hilltop as twilight breaks to dawn.

My eyes are set on the flight of a lonesome dove.

I often wondered if flight lets you see the age that carries on.

I can’t see the clouds that should be in my perfect world.

But the ages are true as I look forward through the dark.

Why is it so impossible for dreams to come true?

What is the meaning of “I Love You?”

Age to age is still the same, the best things never change.

But the vast darkness that lies behind you,

will bring the darkest of endearing pain.

Nothing is perfect and you shouldn’t lose sleep

Over things you cannot change.

But it’s all the same from age to age.
