Spur of the moment poem. Please review.
The Ever-winding Blue

There's a lady in my chest racketeering her love.
There's a dreamer in the road commandeering the doves.
There are children in the grass and they're unwrapping life
There's a shadow without shape and it's searching for light.

As we pine on through the ever-winding blue.

There's a thinker at his desk and he's losing his mind.
There's the cosmos oh so strange and humanity's blind.
There's a zealot on the stand and he's waiting for signs.
There's a creamy shade of blue and it winds and winds

As we pine on through the ever-winding blue.

There's a canine in my yard and he's chained to a pole.
There's a gemstone in the sky but the sky is too cold.
There's a scar inside the heavens bleeding showers of hail.
There's a question in the sky and the answer is pale.

As we pine on through the ever-winding blue.
