My life! I used to be embarresed about this, but it is quite funny, putting it in a poem!
The tempting season

I met a man on the bay
This was a mistake, I should’ve ran away

It felt like love
Or like butterflies from above.
But not pure in any way
It became darker everyday.

You see, I am a girl that lives with my fam.
He lives on a farm, and is a “grown up” man.
He was a hippy that dances with fire
And I became a dangerous liar.

My family was not impressed
But to keep it going, I tried my best.

You see, this is the reason
Why I had such a hectic season.

He is coloured, and I am white
He had dreadlocks and had a bad sight.
He was dangerously wild
And I was just a little bit mild.

I enjoyed his touch
Well everything he did, as such…
But I couldn’t carry on
I felt like such a con.

I broke up with him, times ten
But he became a stalker, like some weird men.
It became very freaky
And this wasn’t sexy, just very eeky!

Now I am back, to what I’ve been
Shy and innocent, but still a little keen
For the rebel inside of me
To come out and just be… free!
