Just a (relatively) carefree, yet foreboding piece.
Yeah, let's love like a roadtrip
to where ever the hell we wanna go
with some cash in our pockets
and maybe some coins in the seats
for treats
to pop in each others' mouths.
Hate to be uncouth,
but how much longer 'til we run out of gas?
the end is out there, somewhere,
like timbuktu-don't get me that map,
for I couldn't tell you if it's
near (not near)
or far (please, far)
but I know once we know,
we're done
'cuz it's always tomorrow until it's today,
but today is already gone...
So let's just stay here, baby,
let's love like a hurricane
that never puts in to land-
what do we gain being grounded
when we're so ravaging right where we stand?
