Forsaken angel
White wings scorned by Pearly Gates
Falls to broken knee

Blue eyes turn skyward
God’s chosen cries mortal tears
Dark skies hide his path

Temptation wooed him
Black serpent in chaste garden
Forked tongue lingers still
