The mending of a broken heart, sewing the rented pieces back together
My Tailor
By: G E L

It is a dark and gloomy night within, without
Upon your sanctuary I offer my broken heart
Though these knees tremble with fear and doubt
At your feet I plead, "Make me whole once more"
Your loving-kindness be the silver needle
Your grace the golden thread
On your gentle palms I place these rented pieces
While once again I cry out to You my Tailor
"Sew these painful tares away and make me whole"
Your gossamer stitches, within, without
Are balms of hope
That which heals my broken heart
