Fight of the sun and clouds resulting rains of peace_3rd place in Writer's Guild
The bright, robust sun

and the dark clouds

are in the thick of fray.

Nobody can guess

who will win the fight.



The brawl reaches its climax.

With a wreak of vengeance,

the nimbus clouds

engulf the radiant sun.



A streak of lightning

forks across the sky,

with heavy rumbling thunder

pouring on the earth

the rains of peace!
