As we age we ponder what could have been.
Outside Looking In

by: Leah Law

Oh how we wish our lives away,
not stopping to see the everyday.
If only we could see the miracles
that life has given in a lyrical.
As we stand outside looking in,
do we dare realize what could've been?

One day we're young with life ahead,
the next we realize we could be dead.
Years pass as swift as the wind,
relationships we make then mend.
As we stand outside looking in,
do we dare realize what could've been?

Time loses and age begins to win,
this should be the ultimate sin.
If only we could hit the button - to rewind,
to see all the miracles we couldn't find.
As we stand outside looking in,
do we dare realize what could've been?
