sometimes we need to cocoon and self-protect
Cocoon

I need to hide inside you for a while,
Until I feel beautiful and whole again.

Taking my ugly thoughts there I ponder,
Turning my heart and body to liquid mush.

I cannot emerge prematurely as it will kill me.
Timing is everything and must be respected,

Churning with desire to be whole again,
Stewing in my own juices and desolate.

Pieces of me come back cell by cell.
I am reconfigured and my hopes anew.

I have had what it takes all along,
hidden in the depths of my DNA,
It was just mixed up and green.

Showtime.

author's note's:
God's timing is perfect. Whatever God does is well done.
The caterpillar symbolizes the unsaved person. Becoming
born again is the most fulfilling and real experience you can have.
God reveals who we are in him and the beauty of Christ reflected
in us transforms us from lowly worm to glorious butterfly.

Ecclesiastes 3:11- He has made every thing beautiful in
his time: also he has set the world in their heart,
so that no man can find out the work that God makes
from the beginning to the end.
